Welcome to the Evolving Man Project’s ‘Evolved Man of the Week’ profiles. Each week we will highlight an individual that embodies what it means to be an evolved man, famous and non-famous men alike. The world needs to know their stories and deeds. This week’s honor goes to philanthropist, investor, entrepreneur, media mogul, and best-selling author, Germaine Moody.

He has produced and hosted over 60 business networking events in more than 40 major cities across four countries and received numerous nominations for “Event Producer Of The Year” at BIZBASH Magazine’s Readers Choice Awards, competing amongst event producers from major brands and corporations including TARGET, Mastercard, Wells Fargo, GUESS, Toshiba, Rolex, Victoria Secret, Budweiser as well as Hollywood heavyweights including The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros. Studios, HBO, OWN/The Oprah Winfrey Show, FOX, CBS, ABC, OSCARS, and more. He is the author and editor of several books and essay collections. He is a dedicated volunteer, advocate, and sponsor for multiple nonprofit organizations that assist the less fortunate. Through the developing Germaine Moody Foundation, he’s been able to continue to give back to the community and fight for various charitable causes.  

Here is Mr. Moody in his own words about seizing an opportunity and opening doors for others who follow you:

“When the right door opens, be courageous enough to walk through it. Be cautious enough to only take those who are capable of going with you. Be swift enough to close the door afterward. Be observant enough to know that millions will never get the opportunities you have. Be strong enough to continue while others mock you, they will eventually honor you. Be wise enough to build new doors. Be great enough to open them for others”.
